Epiclay's green walls fight pressing global challenges, such as air pollution, the heat island effect in urban areas, and low energy efficiency of houses. We want to achieve this through a modular facade greening system, which can be easily implemented on existing buildings. The special material composition of our product, as well as the choice of plants, allows us to create a light weight product and reduce a large part of the maintenance effort, compared to conventional facade greening systems. Epiclay makes green facades accessible to everyone.

Epiclay provides a cooling effect to the buildings applied on in two ways: by the plants themselves, but especially through the unique material composition used.
Due to the special mixture of plants we use, Epiclay reduces the maintenance input to a minimum, lowering costs and time required.
The modular approach used by Epiclay, allows our customers to apply the product onto most facades and structures easily and in any shape they wish..
The light weight of the modules facilitate the implementation of Epiclay by not harming the structural engineering of the building.

We are a transdiciplinary team of biologists, architects and business developers with one aligned mission: to make green living accessible to everyone!
Chris has substantial experience in tax advisory (i.a. Deloitte), as well as corporate innovation management (i.a. Daimler AG). He is also the founder of the social project “Impact Vouchers” and co-initiator of “Zusammen-Leiwand.at”.
Melanie has been working in the sphere of logistics, as well as in personal sales in an art gallery for numerous years. This allowed her to gain valuable insights into supply chains and the sales of high-priced goods. Also, she studies Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy.
Head of Biotech
Mary-Eve has an engineering degree with specialization in agriculture. She has thorough experience in sustainable agriculture, the development of green city solutions and environmental sciences.
Head of Architecture
Mauricio is an architecture student from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. He has vast experience in graphic design, architecture model construction and fabrication.
Head of Design
Sumit has been working in architecture and design for plenty of years now and holds a degree in Advanced Architecture from IAAC, Barcelona. His skills lie mainly in urban planning and climate responsive design.
Head of B2C-segment
Camille has studied Marketing Communication and Innovation. Professionally, she focuses on digital marketing and innovation management. Furthermore, she is passionate about content creation and a skilled photographer. Also, she runs her own marketing agency.
Bilal, an international management student from Norway, will help us further grow Epiclay through the extensive experience he gained in strategic management positions, as an research analyst and in business development, as well as his vast knowledge of the Scandinavian market!
